We believe the Bible to be true. Every word of it, so there are a lot of things we believe, but here are a few of the beliefs that are at the core of the mission of Healing Well Ministry.

Jesus came to Save and Restore the Whole Person

Jesus gave His mission statement in Luke 4 (Isaiah 61), which was to bring healing and restoration to body, soul, and spirit. As a perfect reflection of Father God, Jesus reveals that it is God’s desire for us to walk in health and wholeness in all areas of our life. God’s idea of salvation is not only for us to spend eternity with Him, but to also be healed and delivered.

The Great Commission is for Us Too!

What Jesus told His disciples to do is also our commission for today, because Jesus told His disciples to teach new disciples to obey all the commands He had given them. The Christian life should be one of walking in the power of the Holy Spirit with signs and wonders following each one of us.

Mark 16:15-18 (NLT) 15 And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone. 16 Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned. 17 These miraculous signs will accompany those who believe: They will cast out demons in my name, and they will speak in new languages. 18 They will be able to handle snakes with safety, and if they drink anything poisonous, it won’t hurt them. They will be able to place their hands on the sick, and they will be healed.

Matt 28:18-20 (NLT) 18 Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. 19 Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. 20 Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Law of Love

Jesus told the Pharisees that the greatest commandment in the Law is to love the Lord your God. (Matt 22:38) Many things come out of our love for God, but one of them is sharing His heart for people. Out of a loving relationship with the Father we are enabled to love everyone we come in contact with. (Matt 22:39) An overflow of that love is ministering healing and deliverance to those in need.

Victorious Life as a Believer in Jesus

We believe that Christians are called by God as evident throughout the scriptures to live a victorious life over sin, sickness, our mind, our will, our emotions, and principalities and powers of the kingdom of darkness. Once we accept Jesus as Lord of our life, we become sons and daughters of The Father, princes and princesses in His Kingdom, and coheirs with Jesus. Our new position in Christ Jesus has given us access to the resources of Heaven, grace to overcome ALL things.
